We are an international religious congregation of women consecrated to God in the Church to evangelize through the instruments of social communication and promote the dignity of all peoples. We are founded in Alba, Italy by Blessed James Alberione on 15 June 1915, we are part of a group of Institutes he started that all together make up the Pauline Family.

We are ever attentive to the signs of the times by helping people connect with God in a digital age. With the changes taking place in the 20th century, Fr. James Alberione intuitively understood the special role woman could play in society and in the Church. He also grasped the unique contribution that consecrated women could make to evangelization in the far-reaching and complex world of communications. Under the wise and prophetic guidance of Sr. Thecla Merlo, the Institute concretized the charism given to Fr. Alberione by God.
